Application of GIS Steel Structure Shelter and Economic Optimization Design of Its Main Rigid Frame
As the outdoor GIS equipment is affected by the operating environment and the SF6 gas leakage rate is significantly higher than that of indoor equipment,it is necessary to take measures to improve the operating environment of outdoor GIS,en-hance the operating reliability of equipment, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by gas leakage. Therefore, two kinds of steel structure shelter as herringbone and semiconvex are proposed for the application in outdoor GIS equipment. The structural forms, scope of application and greenhouse gas emission reduction benefits of the two shelters are described. With the goal of minimizing the total steel consumption,an optimization design method for the parameters of steel structure shelters was pro-posed under the premise that GIS steel structure shelters meet the requirements of strength and stiffness, electrical safety, and operation and maintenance.Taking the existing herringbone steel structure shelters as an example, the optimization design re-duced the steel consumption of the main rigid frame by 20.43%,and the economic benefits were significant.
