Analysis on Design for Earthing of 220 kV Switch Station
The qualified earth-electrode network of the substation is crucial for the power system's reliability.Designers pay less attention to earthing in small substation, leading to misunderstandings in simplifying calculations.Through simulation calcula-tions and the analysis of a practical project, this study clarifies that step potential difference, touch potential difference, and earth potential difference are key criteria for qualified earthing. It simultaneously analyzes and identifies the maximum grid current and soil resistivity as the main factors affecting them. The study explores simplified earthing calculation methods, corrects initial val-ues,provides scenarios for earthing optimization and suggests measures to reduce earthing resistance. The research conclusions can serve as a reference for earthing design in small substations.
