Effects of three enzymatic protein peptides replacing fishmeal on growth, body composition and antioxidant properties of juvenile Litopenaeus vannamei
To understand the effects of replacing fish meal with low-value animal enzymatic protein on the growth, body composition, and antioxidant performance of Litopenaeus vannamei,L.vannamei were used as the research subjects with the initial weight of 0.05±0.01 g for 8 weeks. The group which fish meal was not replaced served as the control group. The fish meal was replaced respectively with 5%of the squid peptide, fish peptide and chicken peptide in the replacement groups.Four types of equi-protein and equi-fat feeds were formulated. The results showed as follows:special growth rate of the the squid peptide group and the fish peptide group were significantly higher than the con-trol group.the crude protein content of the squid peptide group was significantly higher than the con-trol group in the body composition, the crude fat content was significantly higher in all substitution groups than the control group. The hepatic and pancreatic T-AOC activities significantly increased in all three enzymatic peptide groups compared to the control group. The activities of SOD,GSH-Px and CAT increased significantly in the squid peptide compared to the control group, while no signifi-cant difference were observed in fish peptide and chicken peptide groups, the content of MDA in all substitution sroups decreased significantly in hemolymph and hepatopancreas. The Nrf2 gene and HO-1 gene expression were up-regulated significantly, and the Keap1 gene expression was down-reg-ulated significantly in squid peptide group. In conclusion, the growth performance of L.vannamei was significantly promoted in the squid peptide group and fish peptide group, but the squid peptide was better than the other groups,in improving the nutritional level of shrimp, promoting the antioxidant genes expression and reducing the damage to cells in the body during antioxidant process.
