Artificial proliferation, embryo and larval development of Hypomesus transpacificus nipponensis in Tanghe Reservoir
Male parents of wild Hypomesus transpacificus nipponensis have less semen and the low survival rate of the eye egg stage of H.transpacificus nipponensis, the reproduction method was im-proved,the"wet method of insemination + incubation basket incubation"method was adopted. In March 2023,an artificial proliferation improvement experiment of H.transpacificus nipponensis was conducted in Tanghe Reservoir,Liaoyang,Liaoning Province. From March 19 to 21,200 kg of H.transpacificus nipponensis were collected from the upstream of Tanghe Reservoir, and 30 million fer-tilized eggs were obtained, with fertilization rate of 83.4%and hatching rate of 65.4%.On April 6,16.376 million larvae were released into the reservoir.Microscopic observation of embryo and larvae showed that, the fertilized eggs were weakly sticky and had sticky filaments. At the water tempera-ture of(10±2)℃,the embryo was developed for 429 h,and the incubation product temperature was 4 290℃·h.Equation for average yolk sac volume and day age correlation was Vyolksac volume=0.121 4-0.020 6d+0.000 9d2(R2 =0.995 8).This improved method extended the growth stage to the fry stage, and improved the release efficiency.
