Comparative study on monitoring tail water of mariculture of prawn(Litopenaeus vannamei)in Hebei Province
Tail water from industrial mariculture and pond aquaculture of shrimp in Huanghua Area in Hebei province as the investigation object,chemical oxygen demand(COD),inorganic nitrogen(DIN)and active phosphate(DIP)changes of the tail water from the two breeding mode under differ-ent breeding stage of aquaculture were compared and evaluated,using single factor pollution index(Pi)and Nemerow pollution index(P).The results showed that the main pollutant factors were DIN and DIP,the mean concentration of main pollutants of tailwater from industrial mariculture was high-er than that of pond breeding mode,and exceeded the discharge limit of Hebei Province.With the in-creasing of the breeding time,the concentration of main pollutants in tail water increased too.The P value of tail water in both modes was in the serious pollution grade.
