Trial for polyculture of Cynoglossus semilaevis with Penaeus japonicus and Takifugu flavidus in seawater pond
To promote the technique for farming the tongue sole(Cynoglossus semilaevis),and improve economic efficiency in seawater pond farming,polyculture of tongue sole of different stocking size with the kuruma prawn Penaeus japonicus and tawny puffer Takifugu flavidus in pond were com-pared.The stocking density of the tongue sole was 2 250 ind./hm2 with the size of 150~250、5~10、20~50 g/ind.,respectively.The stocking density of the kuruma prawn was 60 000 ind./hm2,and that of tawny puffer was 6 000 ind./hm2 with the size of 0.54~0.56 g/ind..The result showed that the harvest size of the tongue sole could reach 500 g/ind.with total output 2 801.0 kg/hm2 and eco-nomic efficiency 99 404 yuan/hm2 if the stocking size exceeds 150 g/ind.
