Construction of large-scale crayfish breeding system and its supporting breeding technology
In view of the industrial development status and prominent problems,a large-scale crayfish(Procambarus clarkia)breeding system and its supporting breeding technology were built,and with which breeding experiments were performed.The system was composed of an elevated water pool,sewage collecting pool,parent crayfish mating pool,larvae hatchery pool,larvae breeding pool,lar-vae collection pool,parent crayfish storage pool,and ecological purification pool,all pools were con-nected through pipelines to form a circular loop.Basing on this system,the supporting breeding tech-nology includes processes of parent crayfish pool,water injection,probiotic inoculation,larvae selec-tion,segmented feeding,water transfer,circulation,gonadal development observation,parent cray-fish centralized mating and spawning,egged parent crayfish release,larval hatching and larval breeding.This breeding system and its supporting breeding technology were used for 196 days of indoor breeding experiments.The results showed that 76.67%~90%of parent crayfish go-nads were in the fourth development phase.The average egg carrying capacity of female parent cray-fish was 446,the average egg carrying rate was 83.88%,and the average hatchery rate was 88.19%.the average survival rate of 3~4 cm juvenile was 93.90%.The pairing result of parent crayfish from different regions was better than that from same region.
