A case study on the"four ponds and one tank"mariculture wastewater treatment mode for Penaeus vannamei
In order to promote the green and healthy development of shrimp farming industry,the"four ponds and one tank"wastewater treatment technology was introduced,using the industrial culture mode of Penaeus vannamei in Xiapu County,Fujian Province as a case study.The results showed that,the wastewater was treated by physic sedimentation,filtration,aeration and biological cleans-ing,the quotas,such as suspended solids,COD,TN and TP,were declining obviously,reaching an incredible treatment result.The treated wastewater can be discharged legally or recycled.In addition,this wastewater treatment mode was easy to maintain and can reuse part of superficial heat,which can save the cost of cultivation.
