In order to promote the sustainable development of sturgeon industry,a practical breeding base for hybrid sturgeon was taken as an example to cultivate sturgeon efficiently using industrial cir-culating water,the key techniques were summarized for high-efficient culture of sturgeon in raceway ponds,such as seedling stocking,water quality regulation,feeding,disease prevention and control,etc..5 ponds with total area of 170 m2 were used for culture of the hybrid sturgeon.Sturgeon finger-lings with the body length of 10～15 cm were stocked at the density of 100～200 ind./m2.After 9 months of farming,the average yield of the fish was 97 kg/m2,the average output value was 2 716 yuan/m2 and the average benefit was 960 yuan/m2.
