In order to explore the technical model suitable for culture of the American bullfrog Rana catesbeiana in local area,an experiment for culture of the American bullfrog was conducted in Pings-han County,Shijiazhuang City.The main technical points of bullfrog culture were explored,including feeding,stocking density,water quality control,disease prevention and control.After 120 days of breeding,the survival rate of the American bullfrog was 68.13％,the average size of the American bullfrog was 263 g/ind.,with an average unit yield of 37 kg/m2.
