As one of the characteristic agriculture in Tianjin,fishery plays an important role in impro-ving farmers'income and stimulating farmers'employment.By combing through the data of Tianjin fishery yearbook in the past ten years,it was analyzed that the input indexes of Tianjin fishery indus-try quality showed a decreasing trend in aquaculture area,farming villages,households and fishery population.Except for the increase of per capita disposable income of fishermen,the total fishery out-put and total output value showed a downward trend.The reason of the above trend is that the fishery industry structure and product structure in this region are unreasonable,the land for fishery breeding is declining,and the guarantee of fishery mutual insurance is insufficient.At last,some suggestions were put forward,such as ensuring land requirement for fishery,optimizing fishery species and output value structure,and improving the premium subsidy mechanism of fishery mutual insurance.
