Study on the relationship between coal gasification reactivity and its composition
In order to explore the gasification reactivity of coal with different metamorphic grades, the gasification reactivity of 11 kinds of coal with different metamorphic grades was studied by using a drop-type fixed bed reactor with CO2 as the gasification agent. The relationship between gasification reactivity and volatile matter, fixed carbon, carbon content and ash composition was investigated. The results show that there are still obvious differences in the gasification reactivity of 11 kinds of coal with different metamorphic degrees at 1 400 ℃.The gasification reactivity of low metamorphic degree coal is much higher than that of medium/high metamorphic degree coal, and the time required for complete gasification reaction is 7 times higher than that of gasification reaction index. From the perspective of industrial analysis and elemental analysis, volatile matter, fixed carbon and carbon content have a good correlation with coal gasification reactivity, and the correlation coefficient is more than 0.88.From the analysis of ash composition, the correlation between alkalinity index and coal gasification reactivity is poor. Therefore, the advantages and disadvantages of coal gasification reactivity can be predicted according to the composition information of volatile matter, fixed carbon and carbon content of coal, which can provide reference for coal gasification application.
