Experimental study on mark gas and critical value of coal seam spontaneous combustion
Spontaneous combustion of coal seam is an important problem in coal mine safety.Studying the marker gas of spontaneous combustion of coal seam and its critical value is helpful to early warning and prevention of fire.In this paper, through the indoor experimental device, the No.5 coal seam of Shouyang Mine in Qinshui Coalfield is selected as the research object, and the relationship between the natural gas concentration and temperature of the coal seam during the oxidation process of the coal seam is studied. The results show that the CO concentration and coal temperature show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing during the heating and oxidation of coal samples.Because the concentration will change only when the temperature is 100 ℃,it is not reliable to select the change of CO concentration as a marker gas.Although ethylene gas is more accurate than CO,the monitoring temperature will be higher,so olefin gas should be carefully selected as the indicator gas.
