Study on growth and fruit characteristics of Hippophae rhamnoides subsp.sinensis'Yulu'under different site conditions and their correlation with soil physicochemical properties
In order to investigate the effects of soil physicochemical properties on the growth and fruit quality of Hippophae rhamnoides'Yulu'under two different site conditions in Weichang County,Chengde City. The growth, fruit indexes and soil physical and chemical properties of Hippophae rhamnoides'Yulu'growing on sand and flood land were determined. The results showed that compared with sand wasteland, wasteland indicators suchas plant height, ground diameter and number of live branches of Hippophae rhamnoides'Yulu'were significantly increased in flood land, the growth of Hippophae rhamnoides'Yulu'was strorger. The yield of Hippophae rhamnoides'Yulu'was significantly higher than that of sand wasteland, and the nutrient was lower than that of sand wasteland. The soil moisture content,pH,capillary water capacity and capillary porosity of the flood land were higher than those of the sand wasteland, but the soil organic matter content, available phosphorus content and alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen content were significantly lower than those of the sand wasteland. The results of this study can provide reference for the standardized production and management of Hippophae rhamnoides'Yulu'.
