Analysis of nursery management in Shijiazhuang City
In order to explore the current situation of nursery operation and its problems in the whole area of Shijiazhuang,this paper analyzed the number,area,type of tree species,and mode of operation of nurseries in Shijiazhuang through field surveys,collection of public governmental data,and combining with the data from online resources.The results showed that:(1)There were 555 nurseries in Shijiazhuang,with a total area of 6053.33 hm2.7 state-owned nurseries(1.26％)and 548 private nurseries(98.74％);there were 102 species of nursery trees,most of which were native species,and the ratio of deciduous to evergreen species was 8:17.(2)There were 842 registered technicians in the nurseries,of which there were only 180 people with college degree or above.(3)Nursery sales channels were diverse,mostly local direct sales and corporate ordering and broker sales(67.82％),the target market to the capital of Beijing as the center of the geographical circle.There were problems such as low level of management specialization,low degree of mechanization,and lack of outstanding business characteristics in nursery operation;suggestions were made to improve the level of science and technology,develop multi-functional nurseries and differentiated seedlings.
