Digital Empowerment for Youth Physical Health:Personalized Intervention Strategies Based on Self-Determination Theory
The purpose of this study is to explore the strategies for personalized promotion of adolescent physical health in the digital era based on the Self-Determination Theory(SDT),by analyzing how the digital environment affects the adolescents'intrinsic motivation and its role in physical health management,and constructing a comprehensive framework that includes personalized evaluation and SDT-based personalized intervention strategies,with the aim of promoting adolescent physical health.Methods:Literature review.Results:Digital tools have significant effects in enhancing adolescents'autonomy,competence,and relatedness,which are beneficial to promoting adolescent physical health.However,the digitalization process is accompanied by numerous challenges in terms of technology,psychology,and resources.It is suggested to strengthen digital literacy education,balance virtual and real-life activities,and enhance cross-sectoral cooperation to promote the healthy growth of adolescents in the digital environment.Conclusion:To promote the healthy growth of adolescents in the digital environment,it is suggested to strengthen digital literacy education to enhance adolescents'correct understanding and use of digital tools;balance virtual and real-life activities to ensure that adolescents can actively participate in physical exercise and other real-life activities while engaging in digital activities;and enhance cross-sectoral cooperation to integrate resources from education,sports,and technology sectors to provide support for the promotion of adolescent physical health.
