Based on the View of Social Ecosystem Theory the Rural Elderly in our Coun-try Study on Sports Health Promotion Model
It is crucial to innovate and develop a sports health promotion model for the rural elderly in our country as a means of addressing the issue of aging populations in rural areas.Drawing on social ecosystem theory, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of how various levels of social ecological factors—such as individuals, families, social organizations, communities, and public policy environments—affect physical education and health promotion among elderly people in rural China.A comprehensive social ecosystem model for physical education and health promotion tailored to the elderly in rural settings is proposed. This model integrates organization, management, and implementation from an external perspective.Building upon this framework, the paper advocates for enhancing security systems to meet the physical health needs of rural elderly individuals while fostering a supportive service environment that encourages active health through sports.Furthermore, strategies such as implementing a digital intelligent enabling supervision and management system and establishing mechanisms for multi-subject cooperative development are suggested. These optimization strategies provide both theoretical references and ideological inspiration for advancing national initiatives aimed at constructing a healthy China while actively addressing challenges posed by an aging population.
