On the Impact of Digital Economy on the Optimization and Upgrading of Industrial Structure——Based on Panel Data From 16 Cities in Shandong Province
The vigorous development of the digital economy has provided new impetus for the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure.The article is based on panel data from 16 prefecture level cities in Shandong Province from 2014 to 2019,using the entropy method to measure the level of digital economy development,and analyzing the impact of digital economy on industrial structure optimization and upgrading through a fixed effects model.The research results indicate that:(1)the digital economy can have a positive impact on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,and this conclusion has passed the robustness test;(2)the promotion effect of the digital economy on the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure is more significant in cities with higher levels of economic development.Based on this,Shandong Province should accelerate the construction of the digital economy,empower industrial structure adjustment through the digital economy,and achieve industrial structure optimization and upgrading.
