A Glimpse Into the Musical Cultural Exchange Between the Soviet Art Troupe and Harbin in the 1950s
After the founding of the People's Republic of China,China and the Soviet U-nion engaged in a series of musical and cultural exchanges.In 1952,the Soviet Art Troupe was invited to China to participate in the"Sino-Soviet Friendship Month"event.They conducted a nine-day music and art performance in Harbin,their final stop in China.This was also the first Soviet music group to organize music activities in Harbin after 1949,with the longest duration,the largest cast,and the most diverse performance styles.This article uses the"Songjiang Dai-ly"published at that time as the primary source,corroborated by original materials such as Har-bin local chronicles and archives,to verify and organize the Soviet Art Troupe's musical activi-ties,tracing the historical trajectory of Sino-Soviet musical exchanges.
