A Study on the Impact of Leadership Style Based on Organizational Commitment on the Work Performance of New Generation Employees in Enterprises
The article conducts empirical analysis and establishes a model to study the impact of different leadership styles on the job performance(including peripheral performance and task performance)of the new generation of employees,and analyzes the mediating effect of organizational commitment.Research has found that:(1)authoritarian leadership has a significant negative impact on the work performance of new generation employees,democratic leadership has a significant positive impact on work performance,and laissez faire leadership has no significant impact on work performance;(2)organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between authoritarian leadership and task performance;organizational commitment plays a mediating role in the relationship between authoritarian leadership and peripheral performance;organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between democratic leadership and peripheral performance and task performance.The role of organizational commitment is not significant between laissez faire leadership and job performance.
