A Study on the Character Images in"Qipao"From the Perspective of Feminist Criticism
Jiang Daolian is the earliest Macao-born Portuguese female writer,and her collection of short stories"Qipao"is regarded as the origin of Macao's feminine literature.Through 26 short stories,Jiang Daolian takes a female perspective as the starting point and portrays the lives of Chinese women in the 1930s and 1950s against the backdrop of war and turmoil,creating a series of vivid and typical female images.Based on the perspective of feminist criticism,the article analyzes the three main types of female images in"Qipao".It explores the internal connection between the formation of these female images and the sociocultural background of the time.Readers will gain a fresh understanding of her works by interpreting Jiang Daolian's construction of female images and exploring her views on women.
