In the process of modernization of ideological and political education in universities,the role of information technology has shifted from being a traditional auxiliary tool to becoming the core force driving the enhancement of ideological and political education effectiveness.Technological governance can help strengthen the value-guiding capacity of ideological and political education in universities,activate hidden educational potential,and achieve a dual breakthrough in the ideological field.Currently,there are issues in the application of technological governance in ideological and political education in universities,such as the overstepping of technological rationality over humanistic values,discrete thinking disregarding human complexity,and mismatched technological functions hindering the construction of standardized narratives.It is necessary to clarify the subordinate relationship between technology and education,establish the dominant position of humans in technology application,formulate reasonable operational regulations and ethical frameworks for technology governance,and continuously improve the practical effectiveness of ideological and political education in universities.
