Although the promulgation of"The Civil Code"has to some extent resolved some conflicts and competition issues in the system of obstacles to contract performance,its relevant provisions still present defects such as unclear hierarchy,unclear boundaries,and attempts to unify.Clarifying the content of obstacles to contract performance,categorizing obstacles to contract performance,and forming a complete mechanism for resolving obstacles to contract performance are of great significance for theoretical construction and maintaining the interests of both parties in practice.
