On the Development of Symbolism and Connectionism Artificial Intelligence
Since the beginning of the rise of artificial intelligence,some people have been eagerly anticipating its development,while others have been anxious and uneasy about it.Regardless of people's attitudes towards it,it cannot be denied that artificial intelligence has become an important driving force for advancing human society.However,in order to fully leverage the important empowering role of artificial intelligence in social development,it is necessary to clarify the working mechanism of artificial intelligence,analyze its limitations,and find the development path of artificial intelligence.Human intelligence mainly includes two forms of thinking:deductive reasoning and inductive summarization,which correspond to the two major logical approaches of artificial intelligence:symbolism and connectionism.The article analyzes the current limitations and future potential of symbolic and connectionist artificial intelligence,identifies the development direction of artificial intelligence,and provides a fair,objective,and up-to-date understanding of artificial intelligence.
