The Impact of China's Cross-border E-commerce Development Model on International Trade From a Sustainable Development Perspective
The article mainly conducts theoretical and empirical tests on the correlation between cross-border e-commerce and international trade from the perspective of sustainable development. The results show that the impact of cross-border e-commerce on international trade can be divided into five pathways, namely institutional innovation, technological innovation, economies of scale, reducing trade risks, and lowering transaction costs. The empirical analysis further shows that cross-border e-commerce has a significant positive role in promoting international trade. After a positive impact on international trade is imposed on cross-border e-commerce,the response path of international trade is always positive. However, with the extension of the lag period, the response path of international trade gradually decreases. In the face of the positive impact of the number of Internet users, the response path of international trade shows a gradual increase, and then gradually stabilizes.
