In the context of the artificial intelligence era,there has been a structural change in the demand for high-end translation talents in society.The article summarizes the development history of artificial intelligence and machine translation,elaborates on the challenges and countermeasures of cultivating Master of Translation(MTI)talents in the digital age,and proposes to refer to the training experience of foreign translation colleges,break down professional barriers,integrate technical elements from training programs,teaching staff,curriculum design,examination and evaluation systems,and cultivate high-quality composite talents of"language+X"to meet the constantly changing market demands.
