The Moral Disillusionment and Re-enchantment of the Educational Meta verse From a Post-humanist Perspective
With the in-depth development of metaverse theory,the demand for the meta verse to empower the digital transformation of education has become increasingly urgent.The research and application of the educational metaverse and the wave of educational digitalization mutually correspond and promote each other.However,the expansion of educational metaverse theory inevitably brings certain potential ethical risks,casting a layer of"moral anxiety"over its research and application.As a philosophical perspective that integrates multiple viewpoints,post-humanism breaks through traditional dualistic concepts and provides a beneficial analytical framework for the moral disillusionment and re-enchantment of the educational metaverse,encompassing and transcending various perspectives such as embodied cognition and phenomenology.The ethical risks that urgently need to be addressed in the application of the educational metaverse include:the ethical risks of high-tech systems under instrumentalist competition,the ethical risks of high-tech chaos in technological centralization,and the subjective ethical risks arising from a lost dualistic ontology.The philosophical discourse of post-humanism offers a referable thought path for alleviating the ethical risks in the theoretical application of the educational metaverse and achieving a moral re-enchantment of metaverse ethics.
