Research and Practice on the Construction of First-Class University English Courses for Art Majors——Based on the Background of New Liberal Arts and Foreign Languages
Under the background of"New Liberal Arts and Foreign Languages",in response to the changing demands of the country for cultivating high-level artistic talents,the core task of university English curriculum reform in art colleges is the research and practice of constructing first-class courses.This article presents specific paths for reform through an in-depth investigation and analysis of the current situation of university English course reform in art colleges:clarifying course teaching objectives,reasonably constructing the course structure system,promoting textbook development,improving teachers'professional competence,innovating educational and teaching methods,and perfecting the course evaluation system.It emphasizes that the construction of first-class university English courses for art majors should adhere to the value orientation of"moral education",promote the reform and innovation of university English courses,as well as facilitate the integration and interaction with other professional courses,exploring and establishing a path for the reform of university English courses for art majors with Chinese characteristics.
