Political Economic Analysis of Polar Rules From the Perspective of Arctic Navigation
In order to meet the needs of ships navigating in polar regions, the International Maritime Organization has developed a series of ship operation and management regulations, including"The International Code of Safety for Ships Operating in Polar Waters".Broadly speaking, the introduction of polar rules is not only a necessity for the global shipping industry but is also rooted in profound political and economic contexts.Factors such as the establishment of polar political order, adjustments in the global economic order, and governance of global ecological issues will inevitably impact the improvement and implementation of polar rules.China should take this opportunity to actively participate in the construction of a harmonious world, further promote the formulation of international conventions, and achieve peaceful, stable, and secure development in the arctic region.
