A Review of the Studies of Valency Grammar in China Over the Past Thirty Years—Based on Bibliometric Research With CiteSpace
Valency grammar,originated in Greece,was formalized in the Netherlands,proposed by French scholars,and rapidly developed in Germany.It is an important linguistic theory.After being introduced to China,it has also had a significant impact.This article collects 438 relevant documents from CNKI from January 1994 to December 2023,and explores the evolutionary path and development dynamics of research in the field of valency grammar from two aspects:basic situation and research hotspots,using CiteSpace bibliometric visualization analysis software and Excel spreadsheets,revealing the current state of valency grammar research in China.
