Correlation analysis of bleeding, necrosis, cystic degeneration and clinico-pathological parameters in gastrointestinal stromal tumor
Objective To investigate the relationship between bleeding, necrosis, cystic de-generation and clinicopathological parameters in gastrointestinal stromal tumor(GIST).Meth-ods The clinical data of 46 patients with GIST in Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital from January 2016 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, including gender, age, tumor size, mitotic index, morphological phenotype, risk classification,Ki67 index, bleeding, necrosis, cystic degeneration, neoadjuvant therapy, recurrence and metastasis. The relation-ship between bleeding, necrosis, cystic denegeration,Ki67 index, and various parameters were analyzed. Results There were significant differences between tumor hemorrhage and necrosis and mitotic index, neoadjuvant therapy(P<0.05).There were significant differences between Ki67 index and bleeding, necrosis, mitotic index and risk classification(P<0.05).Univari-ate analysis showed that risk classification, tumor size, mitotic index and Ki67 index were re-lated to the prognosis of GIST(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that risk grade and mitotic index were independent risk factors for the prognosis of GIST patients(P<0.05).Conclusion Ki67 index is closely related to tumor bleeding, necrosis, mitotic index, risk grade, recurrence and metastasis.Risk grade and mitotic index can be used as independent prognostic factors for GIST patients.
