Influence of motivational interviewing on kinesiophobia in patients with lum-bar disc herniation
Objective To explore the influence of motivational interviewing(MI)on kinesio-phobia in patients with lumbar disc herniation. Methods From June 2019 to June 2020,70 patients with lumbar disc herniation in the Rehabilitation Department of a tertiary hospital in Harbin were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group(with 35 cases in each group),the experimental group received motivational interview inter-vention,while the control group received routine nursing care. The effects of motivational inter-viewing intervention on the Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia(TSK)and Fear Avoidance Belief Questionnaire(FABQ)in patients with lumbar disc herniation was compared. Results After the intervention, the scores of TSK and FABQ in the experimental group were significantly low-er than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion MI can effectively reduce the lev-els of kinesiophobia and fear avoidance belief in the lumbar disc herniation patients.
