Relationship between TyG index, blood pressure, blood glucose related in-dex and early renal function injury in simple overweight/obesity patients
Aim:To investigate the relationship and interaction of TyG index, blood pressure, blood glucose relative in-dex related early renal function impairment(ERFI)in patients with simple overweight/obesity.Methods:A total of 3 956 subjects with BMI≥24 kg/m2 who taken physical examination from January 2017 to December 2021 in the First Affiliated Hospital,Zhengzhou University were allocated into 2 groups according to urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio(UACR),<3 mg/mmol was the control group(n =3 844),and3~≤30 mg/mmol was the ERFI group(n =112).Logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between TyG index, blood pressure, glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)and ERFI,and the interaction of each factor was further analyzed. Results:BMI,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),fasting plasma glucose(FPG),HbAlc,total cholesterol(TC)and TyG index in ERFI group were higher than those in control group, and HDL-C was lower than those in control group(P<0.05).TyG index≥8.77(OR =2.138,95%CI:1.411-3.240),high-normal value of blood pressure(OR =2.450,95%CI:1.652-3.635)and HbA1c 5.61%~<7.00%(OR =1.510,95%CI:1.024-2.226)were risk factors for ERFI in patients with simple overweight/obesity.TyG index interacted with blood pressure(RERI =1.754,95%CI:-0.126-3.636;APAB =0.405,95%CI:0.068-0.741).Conclusion:TyG index≥8.77,high-normal value of blood pressure and HbA1c 5.61%~<7.00%can increase the risk of ERFI in patients with simple overweight/obesity,and there is an interaction between blood pressure and TyG index.
