Analysis of fetal prenatal Doppler ultrasound examination and pregnancy outcome in pregnant women with late gestational SARS-CoV-2 infection
Aim:To investigate the fetal prenatal ultrasound,Doppler findings and pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with late gestational novel coronavirus(SARS-CoV-2)infection.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 42 pregnant women diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection in late pregnancy and 103 pregnant women not being diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection(control)were analyzed in terms of prenatal ultrasound,Doppler flow,fetal birth weight,gestational week of birth,mode of delivery,pregnancy outcome,maternal comorbidities,and prognosis of the newborns.Results:Compared with control,the BMI of SARS-CoV-2 infection women increased,middle cerebral artery pulsatility index and cerebroplacental ra-tio decreased,and the incidence rates of prenatal fetal heart abnormalities and preeclampsia increased(P<0.05).Conclu-sion:There is no higher risk for fetal growth restriction for pregnant women diagnosed with common type COVID-19 infection.
