Current situation of work engagement of integrated medical and nursing care staff and influencing factors analysis based on ABC-X model
Aim:To investigate current situation of work engagement of integrated medical and nursing care staff,and analyze the influencing factors of work engagement.Methods:A stratified cluster random sampling method was used to sur-vey 248 staff members of 4 integrated medical and nursing care service institutions in Guangzhou and Suzhou.UWES-9 was used to assess the situation of work engagement.The work engagement scores of staff members with different features were compared.Multiple linear regression analysis was adopted to analyze the influencing factors of work engagement based on ABC-X model.Results:A total of 244 valid questionnaires were collected.The total score of the work engagement scale was(32.46±10.34),which was ideal.There were statistical differences in the scores of work engagement among different oc-cupations,titles,education levels,promotion time,job satisfaction,career prospect and job burnout levels(P<0.05).In the established ABC-X model,work engagement was associated with occupations,job satisfaction,career prospect,education lev-els and job burnout;the above factors were also associated with most of the dimensions of work engagement(P<0.05).Conclusion:The integrated medical and nursing care staff had ideal work engagement,which might be associated with occu-pations,job satisfaction,career prospect,education levels,and job burnout.
