Intervention effect of comprehensive management based on wind rose chart on postoperative rehabilitation of thyroid cancer
Aim:To explore the intervention effect of comprehensive management based on wind rose chart on the reha-bilitation of thyroid cancer patients after operation. Methods:A total of 280 thyroid cancer postoperation patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from July 2021 to June 2023 were selected, and allocated into control group and observation group using group randomization, with 140 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received a comprehensive management based on wind rose chart at the basis of the con-trol group. Before and after 12 weeks intervention, the Piper Fatigue Scale(PFS),the Huaxi Emotional-distress Index(HEI),the Chinese-version strategies used by people to promote health(C-SUPPH),the Excercise of Self-Care Agency Scale(ESC A),and the Spitzer Quality of Life Index(SQLI)scores were recorded,as well as the occurrence of complica-tions.Results:After 12 weeks intervention, compared with the control group, the decline degree of the total scale and di-mension scores of PFS and HEI were larger(P<0.05),the increase degree of C-SUPPH,ESCA,and SQLI scores were lar-ger(P<0.05)in the observation group. The total complication rate in the observation group was 4.3%,which was lower than that(10.7%)in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The comprehensive management based on wind rose chart can effectively reduce the degree of cancer-related fatigue after thyroid cancer operation, improve patients'self-management efficacy and self-care ability, and reduce the incidence of complications.
