Prognostic value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio in patients with triple-vessel coronary artery disease after PCI
Aim:To explore the clinical value of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in predicting the prognosis of patients with triple-vessel coronary artery disease(CAD).Methods:This study retrospectively collected clinical data of pa-tients with triple-vessel CAD who accepted percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 1,2019,to October 31,2023.Based on the median NLR,patients were allocated into high NLR group(n=209)and low NLR group(n=208),and baseline characteristics were compared between the groups.Kap-lan-Meier risk curves were drawn.Cox regression analysis was used to analyze the relation between NLR and adverse out-comes.Results:In the fully adjusted model,HR(95%CI)of NLR for all-cause mortality(ACM)and major adverse cardio-vascular event(MACE)was 1.057(1.021-1.092)and 1.031(1.004-1.055),respectively.In the high NLR group,HR(95%CI)for ACM and MACE were 2.730(1.244-6.009)and 1.883(1.171-3.033),respectively.The area under the curve(95%CI)for NLR was 0.823(0.782-0.863),sensitivity of 0.886,specificity of 0.312 for ACM and 0.750(0.658-0.842),sensitivity of 0.692,specificity of 0.324 for MACE,indicating good predicting value. Conclusion:NLR could be considered a reliable prognostic indicator for patients with triple-vessel CAD undergoing PCI.
