Research on the Education Model for Female Prisoners to Be Released Based on Social Bonding Theory
The education for prisoners to be released is the final step in the rehabilitation of criminals by prison authorities, and turns out be very important for the prisoners to return to society. However,in recent years, female crime presents a new pattern of more frequent crimes and shorter sentences; Most of them are middle-aged with an unstable low income before imprisonment.Based on the theory of social bonding, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on female prisoners to be released, collected 434 valid questionnaires, and evaluated the scientific portrait of the current situation and needs of female prisoners for education through SPSS system. The paper proposes a multi-dimensional education model of adaptive recovery of dynamic factors in attachment with family members, hierarchical setting of skill training courses to form stable social commitment, and modern prison management concepts to meet the needs of female prisoners.By forming a solid social bond, the female criminal can adaptively return to society through the education.
