Application of Pilodyn to assessment of wood basic density of standing trees in Picea crassifolia Kom
The living tree of Picea crassifolia Kom was penetrated by Pilodyn in both south and north directions in the field. Every wood basic density and early/late wood tracheids length of increment core were menstruated in door. The results of analysis of Picea crassifolia Kom Pilodyn determined item, every wood basic density of increment core, early/ late wood tracheids length, breast diameter, showed that the average of the Pilodyn determined item of Picea crassifolia Kom was 26. 3 mm in south direction,27. 3 mm in north direction, and the average of the Pilodyn had little disparity. The north Pilodyn determined item had significant correlation with breast diameter, the south and nouth Pilodyn determined item both had extremely significant negative correlation with the wood basic density. The south and nouth Pilodyn determined item both had no significant correlation with the early/late wood tracheids length. The biggest contribution rate to the south Pilodyn determined item is the wood basic density (60% ) , and the biggest contribution rate to the north Pilodyn determined item is also the basic wood density (46% ).
