Income increasing effect of agricultural digitization from the perspective of land transfer
[Objective]This study aims to explore the income increasing effect of agricultural digitaliza-tion under a certain scale of land transfer.[Method]Based on the panel data of 30 provinces(autono-mous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government)from 2011 to 2020,the panel threshold regression model was used to analyse the income-generating effects of agricultural digitization on farmers with the land transfer rate as the threshold variable.[Result]The scale of land transfer needs to reach a certain level to significantly increase the income-generating effect of agricultural digi-talization.Different regions have different impacts on the income-generating effect of agricultural digiti-zation,and there are regional differences in the income-generating effect of agricultural digitization, with the income-generating effect of agricultural digitization in the eastern region being more significant than that in the central and western regions.Land transfer and agricultural digitalization promote each other, with the former providing the physical space basis for the latter, and the latter further tapping the potential of land resources through technological progress and industrial upgrading, jointly pro-moting the growth of farmers'income.[Conclusion]It is necessary to continue to improve the land transfer market, further narrow the digital technology gap,and strengthen the cultivation of new agri-cultural management bodies.
