Research and Application of Numerical Simulation on Overflow Capacity of Spillway of Qianping Reservoir
With the development of science and technology,most hydraulic buildings with relatively complex structures are studied and demonstrated by hydraulic model and numerical simulation.In order to optimize the mathematical model in hydraulic model test,MIKE21 Model from DHI's MIKE ZERO series model based on the measured hydraulic characteristics of the hydraulic model test of the spillway of Qianping Reservoir is adopted in this paper.The continuous equation and momentum equation are integrated in space-time by ADI's line-by-line method.And the equations are solved by catch-up method.The hydraulic problems such as discharge capacity,velocity distribution and water surface line along the spillway of Qianping Reservoir are numerically simulated.The simulation results are compared with the measured data of hydraulic model.The results show that under the same working condition,the mathematical model calculated the discharge capacity and velocity value.The water surface line is basically consistent with the measured data of the hydraulic model.The research results have accumulated experience for the selection of mathematical models in hydraulic model tests.
