The article focuses on the research of the prevention and control project of Xinwugou Key Mountain Flood Ditch in Zhuoshui Town,Wuchuan County.The proposed implementation plan of the Xinwugou key mountain flood ditch prevention and control project in Zhuoshui Town,Wuchuan County is formulated based on an analysis of the flood situation and existing flood discharge capacity.The flood control problem of the town is effectively addressed through construction of a new flood discharge tunnel to divert the upstream flood from Xinwugou into the downstream main river channel of Zhushui River Town.After comprehensive comparison,Plan Two has been determined as the optimal choice due to its relatively reasonable tunnel length,as well as its inlet and outlet height difference,along with its ccomparatively low construction difficulty.The implementation of this plan can effectively mitigate floods,enhance the flood control capacity of the town's river section,and ensure the safety of residents'lives and property.
