This paper examines the major challenges and proposed solutions for implementing standardized management in large-scale irrigation districts,using a narrow-mouth irrigation district as a case study.Firstly,the existing issues in the management of narrow-mouth irrigation areas were analyzed,including insufficient awareness of water conservation in agricultural irrigation,insufficiently robust management system,low quality of management personnel,and challenges pertaining to water utilization and operation management.Secondly,a series of standardized and standardized management measures were proposed,including strengthening organizational management,realizing modern management,strengthening safety management,reforming water supply and economic management.Finally,the expected goals of standardized management in narrow-mouth irrigation areas are clarified,including the standardization of agricultural irrigation scheduling and the standardization of project operation.The purpose of this study is to provide valuable insights for the management of large-scale irrigation areas,so as to promote their progress towards a higher level of standardized management.These will further contribute to rural revitalization and economic and social development.
