Water resource is irreplaceable strategic resource for the survival and development of human society.It is one of the important material foundations for human survival,social development,and ecological balance.The establishment of a water-saving society is an important measure in implementing the water conservation priority policy and overcoming the challenge of water scarcity.Moreover,it serves as an important support for high-quality economic and social development.After summarizing the fundamental water resource situation in Zhecheng County,the accomplishments and key practices of recent years'efforts in constructing a water-saving society are examined in this paper,aiming to facilitate and provide guidance for future endeavors in building a water-saving society.
