As an important infrastructure, construction safety is crucial for reservoir engineering. However,in reality, there are still some security management issues that need to be urgently addressed. This study takes a reservoir engineering project as an example to conduct in-depth research on key issues in construction safety management.By using field research methods,it is clear that the project generally faces problems such as weak safety awareness among construction personnel, inadequate safety management at the construction site, insufficient identification and risk assessment of hazards, inadequate emergency rescue system, and insufficient emphasis on environmental protection and civilized construction. To address these issues, this study proposes solutions such as diversified measures, strengthened safety inspections, strengthened hazard management, established and improved emergency rescue systems, and increased emphasis on environmental protection and civilized construction. The research results indicate that these measures can effectively improve the level of construction safety management and reduce the incidence of safety accidents. This study not only has guiding significance for the construction safety management of reservoir engineering projects, but also provides reference for the construction safety management of other similar engineering projects.
