Discussion on Flood Resource Utilization by Means of Reservoir Flood Control Forecast and Dispatch
In order to explore the feasible method of reservoir flood resource utilization and achieve the purpose of effective regulation of flood resources,based on the explanation of the principles and ideas of reservoir flood control forecasting and regulation,taking the Panjiakou Reservoir of Luan River diversion project in the interbasin water transfe as an example,a reservoir flood control forecasting and regulating diagram based on the goal of flood resource utilization is formulated,and it is horizontally compared with the conventional flood regulating process.The results show that the results of flood control of Panjiakou reservoir based on the ideas of the paper are better than the conventional flood control in raising the final water level and reducing the flood peak,and can be applied in the flood operation of similar reservoir projects.
