Analysis on Flood Control Impact on Left Bank Drainage Buildings based on MIKE Hydrodynamic Model
The South-to-North Water Diversion project is a major strategic national infrastructure project to reconfigure water resources in the north and south and ensure coordinated regional development, and the safe and stable operation of the project is crucial. With the frequent occurrence of extreme weather, many left bank drainage buildings along the route have encountered varying degrees of danger, which poses a major threat to the safe operation of the middle route project.Based on MIKE,a hydrodynamic model of a typical left bank drainage aqueduct in Xingyang Section of the main canal of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is established to analyze the effect of flood control. It is of great significance to analyze the possible risks caused by flood to the drainage building on the left bank, main canal and the river crossing the main canal, put forward the corresponding project treatment plan, eliminate or reduce the flood control effect of the South-to-North Water Diversion project, and ensure the stable operation of the main canal of South-to-North Water Diversion project and the life and property safety of people nearby.
