Design Scheme of a Reservoir Spillway for a Flood Control and Storage Project
Combined with the actual topography and geological conditions of the spillway,and considering the factors of flood discharge,economy and technology,the open practical weir spillway is adopted,with a discharge width of 12 m and an elevation of the weir crest of 121 m.A production bridge is set up at the top of the weir to connect the existing road and the road surface at the top of the dam.The spillway is composed of the main engineering section and the tailwater channel.The main engineering section includes the inlet section,the control section and the energy dissipation section.According to the geological conditions of the flood control and storage project and the hydraulic calculation results of the spillway,the design scheme of the inlet section,control section,energy dissipation section and tail canal of the main project of the spillway is elaborated in detail.
