In view of the dramatic changes in river bed caused by sand mining in riverchannels,the influence on the stability of river regime,flood control safety and ecological environment is judged.Therefore,combined with the impact of Xixia County river sand mining planning on river control,an analysis of typical practice cases study should be conducted to carry out a comprehensive analysis.Based on the characteristics of river water and sediment,as well as the evolutionary patterns of riverbeds,and with a comprehensive understanding of the project overview,the primary impacts of sand mining planning on river stability,flood control safety,water supply security,navigation safety,normal operation of infrastructure facilities and ecological environment are analyzed.This research can serve as a valuable reference for similar river sand mining plannings.
