The Application of Unmanned Surveying Ship in Underwater Topographic Surveys
An underwater topographic survey of Apolong Mountain Pond is taken as the research object in this paper. The underwater terrain of Apolong Mountain Pond is intricate, encompassing potential hazards such as undercurrents, whirlpools, shoals, and reefs. The utilization of a conventional man-operated survey ship can potentially jeopardize the safety of both the survey ship and its crew.In order to enhancesafety and efficiency in underwater surveying of mountain ponds,as well as ensure measurement accuracy,an unmanned survey ship was used to conduct underwater terrain measurement of the Apolong Mountain Pond. This approach enables rapid and precise acquisition of data pertaining to the underwater topography and water depth topography, thereby providing accurate and reliable data support for evaluating the water storage capacity and ensuring structural safety identification.
